- What a concussion looks likeA concussion is a brain injury caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head or body. Watch for headache or pressure in the head, nausea or vomiting, dizziness or balance problems, blurry or double vision, sensitivity to light or noise, feeling foggy or slowed down, confusion, memory problems, or simply "not feeling right." Symptoms may show up right away or hours later.
